Founded in 1989
The North Toronto Basketball Association (NTBA) was founded in 1989 and is a well-respected leader in the Ontario basketball community. With approximately 1,000 kids in our weekly house league programs and 300 youth playing at an elite level on one of 30 “Rep” Teams, the NTBA is a pillar in the development of basketball players in the North Toronto region.
Our goal is to have NTBA offer a consistently high quality program for its athletes and their families. We are a community-based program that strives to be competitive with other house league and rep programs in the province, while maintaining a fair and supportive environment to our athletes across all age groups.
Non-Profit Organization
The NTBA is a not-for-profit organization (Ontario Corporation #1444461) that is supported by volunteers with a passion for the sport of basketball.
The NTBA has strong Board of Directors consisting of dedicated individuals who manage our programs, over sixty Rep coaches and many house league coaches all working towards a common goal – the development of life skills and building character through sport.

Community-Led
The success of our programs are the result of a strong community – the commitment and passion from our players, support from families & friends, dedication of many volunteers, donations from sponsors, and our ability to continue securing local gyms for our programs.
