The North Toronto Basketball Association is pleased to partner with Fast and Female, to bring a Champ Chat to the NTBA.
Fast and Female is a non-profit organization that brings Olympians in contact with young girls in an effort to inspire them to stay in sport as they get older and to empower them to fight adversity in all aspects of their lives. All NTBA U10 to U13 rep girls will participate in a Champ Chat on September 30th from 10AM to 2PM.
The following Olympians and elite athletes will be in attendance: Alysha Newman (Pole Vault), Sarah Wells (Hurdles), Khamica Bingham and Kimberley Hyacinthe (Sprinters), Megan Lukan (Rugby bronze medallist), Erica Gavel (Wheelchair basketball), Micaella Riche (NCAA and pro player), Kelcey Wright-Johnson (U-Sports player and sportscaster) and Steph Rudnick (U-sports player and Ontario basketball president)
As a result of over 30 vendors and businesses sponsoring this even, 100 girls will participate for free. There will also be a raffle and each girl will take home a loot bag with various items from our sponsors.
